    Anyone know this song?

There's a performance by Farfesha on Youtube featuring a song I like but can't identify.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYffuNXOw_g

Anybody know what it is and who performed it?

    Thanks!

I can't help you with the song... sorry catdance! But...

Thanks for posting the link, that was an interesting troupe number, well blocked and pharonic themed choreos are always fun; you can get so dramatic and stylized, loved the start. An unfortunate effect of the black wigs against a black backdrop though... before they turned around I thought we had headless dancers... ;-)

I am pretty sure it is a track off "The Descent of Ishtar" CD but I'm not sure which song. (My CD is in the bedroom CD player with my sleeping hubby!!!)

Now I'm second guessing what I told you. But Layla would know. I'll e-mail it to her.

OK, I finally have an answer, sort of. I don't have the title track but it is off of Galactic Caravan: Intergalactic Bellydance. I think amazon carries it. Great music!!!!

No problem. The only reason I knew it was because I have danced to that song before! Enjoy!

Yes, it's Soul Talk (track 2) from Galactic Caravan's Intergalactic Bellydance cd- great song-- and that CD also has a fantastic version of Hakim's Habet
