Thread: Money Shower videos

OK, I know some have been posted here before, but I can't find them.

I want to send some friends to some links of dancers being showered by money. Sounds like one of my friends saw one recently, and it didn't come across to her right. It looked more like money was thrown at the dancer. Maybe it was her reaction too. I wasn't there.

So, any youtube/myspace videos of a "Real" money shower?

In Jillina's instructional dvd drum solo during the performance there are two money showers. It was very amusing my daughter (when 4 years old) thought it belonged to the dance and the next time she danced herself she took a deck of cards and threw it over her head.

I think I've got the right Jillina tape, but it is a VHS tape. Haven't gotten that far yet.

My SO is African so I have been exposed a lot African parties. I have seen the money shower at weddings and funerals! Usally the dancer gives the money to the family.

those are some great vids.. I think that's the best one of Jillina I've seen in a long time.. lighthearted and fun!

you know, my favorite performances of Jillina have always been her nightclub shows, at Al Andalus, Middle East connection, etc. and I have seen her pull out some really beautiful soulful performances to Om Kolsoum in parts of those shows. I think like all dancers, seeing her up close and live in a small setting really allows that connection to shine forth.
