    Pop compilation reccies?

    I just got the maqam.com mailing and suddenly feel inclined to order a pop compilation or two, just because I haven't heard anything new lately and I need a little shaking up. Anyone got any suggestions?

    I got an album from them, Dalaa' Nawaeam, that's all female pop stars, and I really like it. I like the Now Dance Arabia series too. But just so you know, my bias is more toward the really peppy, techno flavored Arabic pop music than the slower, lounge singing type music.

    I like the Putumayo World Music cds for a bit of modern pop fun.
    Oojami is great if you're looking for a more techno beat.
