Thread: Little Egyptian dancer

In searching for a video from another thread, I came across this delightful clip of an adorable and incredibly talented little Egyptian girl, singing and dancing like the best of 'em.
She outshines even the big girls in the background. Now THAT's talent.

Um, there were other dancers in the clip? I loved her! She's both cute and talented - maybe someday I can be like her

This is small Feyrouz a tragic case cause she was killed at a car accident when she was around 15 ,f::
What talent and idol we missed, if she had lived.

The actual clips (my teacher has a whole lot of them) were her 'imitating' the old school dancers like Samia Gamal...she even sings 'Samia Gamal' in one part, and does an impression, I can't remember offhand who the other dancers are that she imitates...but one part she does all the famous dancers 'faces'....all the faces specific dancers are famous for....Its sssssoooo cute!

In another part, she teases a man who's dressed as a woman, he's saying 'I'm so beautiful' type thing, and she's telling him he's not! Its funny to watch, even when you don't know the exact words!

Such a star at such a young age....beautiful. I want to copy the footage so my 10 year old daughter can see- she loves to see dancers around her own age, it helps her feel not so alone.

I'll see if I can find out any more about her, or get the rest of the footage uploaded somewhere so you can all see the rest!

All the other clips that you mentioned are up on YouTube as well, including the manga song where she does all the faces, they're on the same YouTube site. Oh wow, that was incredible! I got the sense I was watching a real child prodigy - so much body awareness and confidence and stage presence at SUCH a young age!

Ok, I've watched several of them now. She's sort of the Egyptian Shirley Temple, isn't she?
