Dancing to Wain A Ramala What Do I Wear?
I think this is a Palastine Folkloric song? What should I wear?

Depends on the context you are dancing it to. It's a debke song but it can be used for cane work so a Saidi dress wouldn't be out of the question.
It comes in here at around 2:49

But I've also seen Hwadiya dance to it wearing a mini skirt.

I think for the Ramallah part, they are alternating Karachi and Fellahi? It's kind of all over the place with the ornamentation in a couple of spots so it's hard to tell, but then they slide back into the saiidi....

A balady dress would be good for costuming and it's ok to dance cane to maqsum rhythm.

Well I sat next to Tasha Banat at the performance and she seemed pleased! Of course I did cane and no debke but Tasha said she would help out for next time! I liked it, probably one of the more difficult challenges. I am more of a Modern Cairo/Egyptian Pop dancer but hey I need to expand right?!

If Tasha was pleased, it must have been good. She really knows debke and I'd advise taking her up on that offer to help out next time. She's a great teacher who knows how to lead a fun, dance-your-butt-off class!
