    Dina style: early days

There's a thread on the board about "Dina style" so, for contrast, this is a clip showing her in her early days. She was still young so the style we all recognise as "Dina style" is lurking but it hasn't fully formed. Its a really interesting study.

Yep, definitely Dina style. What is with that second costume? I see even in her early days she was lightning fast with her costume changes. I don't know how she does that. It's impressive. Watching through that, it doesn't seem the audience likes her very much.

Oh yeah! These clips are from my first-ever Egyptian video. Bought it for $7.00 and to this day it's one of my most-watched. Her dancing is so fresh here, in every sense. I much prefer her look then too. The costumes were already, well, Dinaesque, but at least she looked natural, without breast implants or botox or...

Here's another video of Dina in her early days. Same thing--it's a contrast to what we know as the modern "Dina style," but you can definitely see it developing.

In this one, she looks more "mature" than in the OP. This may be a later one...or a just different costume/makeup choice!

Thanks for starting this thread, Aziza. I think we sometimes forget the "earlier" Dina.

That one too. She was really into wigs in those days. For each number a new costume, for each number a new wig. I don't think the latter has caught on.

That Marlboro video was my first Dina video. I watched it over and over and over. I didn't care for her costuming choices even back then but I liked her anyway.
