Thread: My favorite Fifi YouTube vid is back!

Long ago removed from YouTube, the pink spandex pants and tee shirt Fifi is back. I always loved this because you can see everything her movements so clearly. I am not sure if this music was dubbed over the video or not. My recollection of the first time I saw this was that it was different.

But love being able to see her legs clearly. She keeps a deeper plie turning knees inward which is so much easier to see here. The simplicity of Fifi's movements always blows me away.

I'm pretty sure that music was dubbed over. It's a pretty good match, if you aren't paying close attention, but after watching Fifi so much, her moves don't match that music.

Thats what I am thinking too. The first time I saw this on YouTube it was better quality and I think it was a longer clip and there may have been some dialogue but I do think the music was different. But then it was removed from the site before I could download it. But I am glad to see it back, regardless of the music being dubbed.

When I first saw this on utube recently, I too straight away thought the music was dubbed. It's great to see her dance but I just re watched it and paid attention to the background. Was she dancing for that man in someones home? Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this clip. :)

Well its obviously from a movie and you'll see many clips on YouTube from Fifi movie where she is dancing for the male character. Maybe someone has seen this film and can fill us both in. When this clip was on YouTube the first time (it was later taken down) I believe the video quality was better and the music was different.

Ah! Thanks. I never usually pay attention to the background at all, just mesmerised by the dancing! :)
I love Egyptian music but my Egyptian cinema knowledge is a little shaky. Just curious-are some films available with sub titles? If so any recommendations? ta!

I too was trying to figure out the scene. But on the walls are pictures of her, I'm pretty sure. I agree the music is definitely dubbed.

I have this on a dvd and I always thought the music was dubbed. I wish I knew what she was dancing to. But I love that version of Habibi ya eini.
