Could just be a slow paced pop song using a fusion of a few things. I hear a rabab at the beginning, the main parts of the song where there is vocals I hear mainly ney and piano accordion accompaniment. Then in other small instrumental parts I hear a Lebanese mizhawit.
Sorry for the confusion but I'm not saying the song is "saidi" but that it is using the "saidi rythmn". This iqaa is used all the time in pop music, embellished in various ways but it's the primary rythmn you hear in Arabic pop music. Sorry for the confusion.

    Re: Dancing to Dabke music

I would love to see more clips of belly dancers approach to Dabke music especially with a strong Nawari rhythm. I'm going to start a new thread.
