Thread: Does anyone know who this dancer is?

I really like her moves... There's a note saying she dances at the Nile Palace Hotel in Luxor. Does anyone know who she is?

I´m also curious about her background-trained dancers(egyptian or foreign)are most often more dramatic in accents,using their face expressions more,covering more space,using arms more etc.

I'm curious, too. She is very relaxed and low key (like a "native")... but, this is Lissa Fakkir, most Egyptians I know would sing along a little even though it's an instrumental version. Curious. :)

I had a clip in my list of favourites on youtube (which I no longer had) and I am certain it is the same dancer.

If it is, she is an Egyptian nightclub dancer working in Luxor, which is the norm.

Many people assume all nightclub dancers are total crap but it really is not true. I have seen some fabulous elegant dancers in those clubs (surrounded by a few hours of ones not so great) it is a very relaxed style and does not have the 'drama' and intensity of the trained Cairo dancers.

Aziza was one of my favourites when she started out because she was one of those nightclub dancers with that relaxed garceful style. More recent clips show her new training and there is a strong element of Randa now creeping in.

Regardless of whether the girl in the clip is Egyptian or not, she is very relaxing and beautiful to watch.
