TCM is doing a special in July on Tuesday's and Thursday's. It looks interesting:

In the previews I saw a few belly dancers.

Jack Shaheen is the go-to person for this sort of thing. He has a book, Reel Bad Arabs, which goes into the portrayal of Arabs in film in great detail, with comments on about 900 movies. There's also a video with the same name that sounds as if it covers some of the same ground as in the Turner production. The sad thing is, he could be using entirely new material, because there's new permutations of the same theme coming out all the time.
