Thread: Dahlena's Turkish Cab

Does anyone have this video? What is it like? I can only find it on VHS, does it come on DVD?

I borrowed this video from a friend quite some time ago so I can't give extreme details. What I do remember is that Dahlena teaches a choreography to (I think) Rompi Rompi then at the end of the video she has some performances.

I was not impressed with this video. I didn't think she taught the choreography well and I didn't like the choreography itself.

Did'nt like it much either but I did pcik up a few steps that I still use.
I think Arnie's Productions or Var and Cyrianna may have some for purchase, Im pretty sure Cyrianna was one of the feautured dancers with Dahlena on the tape.

Any recomendations for good Turkish cab? I have Artemis' DVD.

I looked for this video forever, and then when I got it was disappointed. You could try calling Dahlal -- at one time they had them in the warehouse but not on the website. VHS only. I haven't seen it in DVD yet.

Eva Cernik used to have a video called Oryantal Turkish bellydance. I have it on video, don't know if it has ever been released as DVD.
Has great footage of Tulay Kuracas, my favorite Turkish dancer.
I think she has some others as well. One of Sema Yildiz, but I'm not a huge fan of that one. The video is not great quality. I would call Eva and ask what she recommends - there may be some good footage on some of her other videos, but again - I don't know if she's got anything on DVD yet.
