    Need "ME pop" dance music

An inquiring mind needs to know:

What is the newest, the hottest, the best-est ME pop music available that's perfect for "open floor" dancing?

    I need artists/album names/whatever you've got to help me locate it. Arabic . . . Turkic . . . it doesn't matter.

I have "Hakim's Greatest Hits" and "Tarkan" (the one with the two versions of Kiss Kiss); if it's still okay to use these, or if there are a few tracks on each that are okay to use, please let me know.

I know there is new stuff out there . . .

Thanks for all your help, Bhuzzers!

    Deborah

    Nancy

Nancy Ajram, Nancy Ajram and Nancy Ajram.

The CD with Ah w Noss (black with her face & kind of 80s big hair) is fab. first 4 songs totally fun to dance to. I bought mine from Peko

I second Nancy Ajram. Amr Diab has a new one out. Debke always brings people to the floor... Fares Karam has several crowd-pleasers on his new release. I think there's a new Now That's What I Call Arabic as well... you should have plenty of chart-toppers and remixes on that one!

I love the latest CD by Nil Karaibrahimgil (self-titled "Nil"). Lots of great pop-rock songs on that one. Sedar Ortac also had a new CD out last summer -- Sor is the big hit that I remember, but there was also a bellydance-themed one, Dansoz, if you don't mind a bellydancer being a metaphor for a noncommittal lover.

(Sorry for the lack of Turkish diacritics... I tried to insert them but it caused the forum software to freak out.)

I would say that at least in Europe Tarkan is at the moment so *out* as his English album was a real flop and everyone is so tired of his old songs

Of new singers Murat Boz is quite nice with similar style with Tarkan (he even sounds same) and I would also recommend Serdar Ortac Ainsley mentioned before and Kenan Dogulu who represented Turkey at Eurovision song contest. Of female singers Hande Yener is also quite nice...

I always recommend the NOW collections of Arab pop. They have a cool variety of pop and all the songs are at least good, and a few are usually great. For example:
