what's cool and interesting is the peek into styles/trends of dancers of that period.....like, what about the posture?.....that's what scared me the first time i saw it............

still lookin' for the one where roger moore swallows a dancer's navel jewel (and i think that movie had dancer bits in the opening credits too....can't remember the name for the life of me............)

yes..is what you mean..but I use the lean back a lot. She seems to be tucked pelvically speaking, but I think she has a "built in" sway back..and hip bones that could thin slice warm butter...sigh

oh, the lean-back isn't the issue.........unless it's just how she's built, it looks like her chest isn't elevated............but then again, i'm looking to how i was trained, this movie was made in a different era, so that may have been standard training that decade, or, the region she was from..............kinda fascinating actually...more for seeing the evolution of this dance over the decades of the art

like seeing all the egyptian superstars from the 40's to now and how the dance has evolved...........
