I'm going June 15 - I'm going with my mom. She likes bellydancing a lot! Are you going? It's near where I live and the college is very old and very pretty.

No, there is no dancers from Chicago yet.... but Auditions will be held after the show!!!!

Shoulda told you - they are specialized seats, not like Park West. I'm sitting in the upper gallery. I went to their website and bought tickets.

I love how they have a makeup and hair stylist as part of the creative team. Yay!

I'm still puzzled why in Nanae's bio, there is no credit to having studied with, and being a protegée of, the late Bobby Farrah... ..c:: Unless there is another Japanese belly dancer named Nanae.

I KNOW.. i love those backstage pictures seeing how they are getting ready for the show with makeup and hair. it is like a dream to watch. i'm on their site almost every day.

I looked up her website and yup, she does mention him in her bio (I speak/read Japanese, albeit no longer proficiently). I'm just surprised she doesn't in her Dreams bio. A lot of Westerners would recognize the name and appreciate her "dance heritage."

The show must be incredible. I've never experienced a Japanese show when they did not go the full 9. :0)

A Dream Of Arabia, a theatrical production of Middle Eastern dance and music, will be holding auditions to join the cast after the US premier in Chicago June 12-15.

Audition dates: June 19-20
Open Casting Call - auditions based on choreography from the show
Call Sheet distributed June 17
Auditions will take place in downtown Chicago (North area)
Michigan and Belmont Ave.
