    anyone in Switzerland?

    Hi,

I am a newbie who is quite addicted and trying to learn as much as possible.

I currently live in Montreal, Canada but will be moving this summer near Geneva in Switzerland. I have already done some internet searches and found a few classes to check out when I get there, but would love actual recommendations.

I would also love to hear about sources to look up week-end workshops and things of that nature in Switzerland or in France (I'll be a mere 10 min. from the border).

I've also decided to look into holidays in Egypt/Morrocco/Tunisia, but I noticed some threads on that subject so I will thoroughly check those out before asking more questions ..g.:

Meissoun is in Switzerland, and she's a Bhuzzer. She's been in Istanbul, but should be back soon, and should see your post.

    Welcome to Switzerland!

Check out my website, I have the probably most complete list of links for Swiss websites and a calender that lists workshops and events for the whole country.

As I admit that I have been lazy updating the English version, it's best to use the link list on the German page:

As Geneva is quite far from here, I don't know any dancer well enough to make recommendations. But I think some trial lessons will show you what is best for you.

Thanks, I definitivelly will check a couple places out.

The clinics you offer, are they usually in German or English? Maybe I'll be able to treat myself to a road trip later to Zurich when I am a little better!

I am fluent in French and English, but no German at all. But I hope to pick up a bit when I move.

The workshops in the German part of Switzerland are conducted in Swiss German - which you will definitely not pick up in Geneva

But if you have questions during the class, I can always answer them in English of French, no problem. From time to time I even come to Suisse Romande for workshops. (Which reminds me to contact a studio owner in Geneva...)

    Hope to see you sometimes
