I'm signed up already! Oddly enough, I'm going to take the intro to Tribal workshop... I didn't think I would ever pursue that side of the dance, but I thought I'd try it out. And I'm really excited to get a class from Izzy.

I'm signed up for the weekend, too! And for a change of pace and to expand my dance vocabulary, this old Am Cab teacher is also taking the beginning tribal class! See you there Tiger B! (You won't laugh too hard at me, will ya? ..l;, )

Can't wait to get back into class with Morocco! My a$$ could use another good kicking!

I'm skipping the Morocco bootcamp experience... I'm going to book a massage for that afternoon instead!

I'm not going to be able to make this which is a real shame. I am, however, going to study with Izzy next week while I'm in Colorado. I'm just giddy with excitement!

7/8/08 UPDATE: Izzy rocked! You are going to love her. I wanted to pack her up in my suitcase and bring her home with me but her students there in Colorado wouldn't let me. .w.:

You know, I ought to put in a plug here for the venue. I've stayed at the Kalahari resort several times and it's very nice. The rooms are beautiful, and most have fridges, microwaves, and coffee makers, so if you wanted to pack in some of your own food to save money, it would be easy to do so. The restaurants run in a big range from a little snack place to a pizza place to a fine dining place. It's just off the highway, so it's very very easy to find. If gambling is your thing, the Ho-Chunk casino is just down the road.

The only thing about the Kalahari I found offputting is the sprawwwwly nature of the place. Sometimes your hotel room is a fifteen minute walk away!

I tried to sign up but apparently they don't take paypal echeck. Guess I"ll have to wait til I have some cash in there.

I wish I could come again this year - I really enjoyed last year's, and I'm sure that this year's will be even better!

Aww, Shira, why can't you make it this year? You will be missed!!

I wouldn't worry about anything filling up - We've got *LOTS* of room!

The festival will be held in the Convention Center, which is centrally located to the hotel lobby, restaurant, shops, hotel rooms and condo buildings. I think it's going to be a great fest!

Hi Nilaja,

A lot of my students are showing interest in attending! I will be there; how early should I sign up? That is, money is still tight at the moment but I am planning on coming that weekend for sure! I want to know how long I will be able to wait to pay. I am most interested in Morocco's workshop.

Also, do you have an alternative way to pay than paypal? It takes a long time to upload money into the account and when I tried to pay for the workshop previously it wouldn't take it from my bank?

Did you all see the picture of your festival directors petting the baby bagel tiger on the northern lights home page? The baby tiger, lions and leopards are in the lobby!!! Just another reason to come to the Northern Lights Festival!!! :) Looking forward to it!

I actually already have an appointment for a pedicure! Maybe I'll see if they can add on a massage.
