We are currently looking for performers for Hiptastic! because of the high demand for performance slots, we would like to request that performers include a video clip of their dancing (ie. youtube) or you can also submit a DVD. E-mail us for a mailing address.

We are currently looking for vendors for Hiptastic! last year we had over 200 feet of vendors. We are looking for more unique and exciting vendors to participate in this years event.

We are also looking for volunteers for Hiptastic! We tried to do it ourselves last year...nearly killed us! We have a bunch of little jobs for some habibi helpers. We'll make sure that our vounteers still have time to enjoy the day too!

Performers clips are due August 1st. But the sooner the better. And I have vendor applications ready. Send us an e-mail at hiptastic@gmail.com and I will forward a vendor application over to you!! Thank you! Looking forward to having you be a part of the festival again.

I'd like to audition as well. I'll send off a clip soon. And I'm volunteering to be a habibi helper.

Last year's Hiptastic was so much fun. I can't wait for this years!

I would also like to audition! I just sent off an email (I'll have to work on clips when I get home; I'm at work currently).

1:40pm- 2:00pm Workshops: Shimmy drills (on stage w/ Nilaja) & Poi Veil (in field w/ Donna Diva)
2:05pm- 2:25pm Workshop: Drum (on stage with Drummer Deb)
2:30pm - 3:00pm Drum Jam (on stage)
3:00pm- 3:15pm Fashion show
3:30pm- 5:30pm Hiptastic! bellydance show
5:30pm-6:00pm Open Dance with DJ Cash
6:00pm Close...

There is a Chicago to Antioch train.
The Round Lake Beach exit- is the next building over from Hiptastic!

Performers requests are closed. We have a list a couple blocks long that we have to go through. We are overwhelmed and blessed to have so many performers wanting to dance on our stage. Thank you, we will be in touch with all of you shortly!
