Thread: Teachers in Oxford UK

Anyone know of a good teacher in Oxford ? I have been asked for a recommendation for an absolute beginner.

I can't recommend a teacher as such but this might be a good place to start:

Gwen Booth (JWAAD) resides in the Oxford area, but I don't think she teaches weekly classes at the moment. Katrina Robinson teaches Raqs Sharqi (Hilal Style) in Oxford, Lorely Rice, teaches in Abingdon, which is quite close, and Nicky Livermore (also JWAAD) teaches in the Witney area (just West of Oxford). Oh, and there's Karen Bullen in the Banbury area.
Sorry if I've unintentionally missed anyone, I'm not that clued up on who teaches where, but I did used to live in Oxford.
