Thread: Artemis Workshop in Harford County MD

Hey all, I am posting this for my friend ruta who is hosting it, it's at the swingtime ballroom in harford county. here is the info:


now that folk tours is over, that we have Artemis all to ourselves in a workshop on june 23rd from 10-4 with a show from 6-8..................

the registration cost of $55 (which includes the show) is only good until the 21st of june and covers 5 hours with a master teacher along with the show featuring the fabulous Artemis and excellent local dancers! after the 21st it will be $65, if there are still slots open, which are currently filling........we will have vendors, and room for more if you wish to vend (contact me privately)

we all know she'll be retiring from touring and performing soon, so this is a wonderful opportunity

also, the show is open to workshop participants to perform in so let me know if you wish to perform asap, as there are very limited slots, and set up the line up........

i think it was posted on raqsbaltimore....and a couple other groups. i just remembered to do it here now.

the workshop entails torso/abdominal/hip isolation and articulation and her theatricalized skirt dance..........there is a show afterwards, but registration has stopped cold.................if we can't get at least 14 more participants by 6/20, or at least committment to do so, the workshop would have to be cancelled and that would be a shame.............there's something for everyone, regardless of style..............

This is a great workshop opportunity! Artemis workshops across the country regularly sell out, and this one should too. It's a great price and a wonderful dance studio. I would definitely be there if I could (I'll be in Egypt).
