Thread: Central East Coast Ren Faire Troupe

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm testing the waters to see if I can find any other Reenactment dancers in the Virginia, Maryland, Carolina's region. I would like to find a troupe that I can reccomend when asked or whom would be willing to sub at an event in the future if something unfortunate happens to my troupe. (We had a house fire destroy a lot of troupe property this year, nobody was hurt but I would like a back-up plan if something like that happens again.)

i don't think sa'ida is on bhuz, but check out http://www.saidadance.com from virginia. i don't know if she has a troupe in va though. i used to dance with her in seattle. she has been doing accurate (as much as possible anyway) re-enactment for a looong time! so a good person to contact either way. good luck ..g.:

I actually know Sa'ida. We hooked up on Myspace and have managed to get together on a couple of occasions. Maybe she'll get a good troupe going one of these days. If she did I would definately recommend her as a quality reenactor. Thanks for the tip though!

Delaware is a little further north, but maybe close enough.
Someday I'd love to join such a troupe. Though I don't think I can give up zippers and elastic in my costumes, I'll just have to learn to hide them well.
