The 2009 Belly Dance Nationals Competition!

Hosted at the brand new BWI Hilton.

Featuring Ahava, Ava Fleming, Tanya of Las Vegas, Oreet, Lisa Zahiya,
and many more!

Because the East Coast has fabulous mega-metropolitan cities such as
New York City, Miami, and Washington, D.C., the organizers of the
BDNC (who are city girls themselves!) saw a need to have a large
scale competition right in their own backyard...the East Coast.
The Jewel of the Nile is now The Belly Dance Nationals Competition!
With the blessing of Alexandra Ahnide, founder of The Jewel of the
Nile, we are keeping her traditions and going upscale. You, our
honored guests have also spoken, providing enormous feedback, and
tips about what you want in a competition.

Our hope is that we will continue the wonderful event bequeathed to
us by Alexandra with the class and professionalism you have come to
expect from The NDC. The BDNC event planned for 2009 is going to be a
spectacular event! We have been working hard to put together a
glamorous event that will be run with integrity, ethics, and
professionalism. Expect nothing but the best!

In celebration of our first year:

~The first ten registered contestants will receive a free workshop

and two free All Day passes for the event. (Troupes count as one
entry).

~We are gifting 25 Gala Show tickets! Just look for me or one of the
members of The NDC! Tell us you want your free ticket! The free
tickets will be limited edition, commemorative Gala Show tickets to
help celebrate the 2009 BDNC event!

Yay! So great to have this event in our area! I was lucky enough to teach at one of the Jewel of the Nile events but haven't been able to attend the competition itself. Now it's practically in my backyard!

Ha! Bringing it up to my group tonight and if all goes as I think it will, it'll be the very competition debut for the all new GRITS Raq! :)

We just have to send in the pre-registration fee to hold our spot right? Then we can have the balance to you via sponsors or whatnot later?

Thanks! We also had some incredible response in feedback from other contestants and judges regarding competitions that we intend to put into play. We designed the competition around the wishes of the dance community.

We have some wonderful individuals and performers on the East Coast! I love being able to turn the spotlight to them as well as others in our nation. I appreciate your comments and thanks for the congrats and best wishes!! I am encouraging my peeps to attend your event also, they are excited about it!

I talked briefly with Lisa Zahiya, and she highly recommends it. i got the thumbs up from hubby....but it's during the weekend my family has celebrated Thanksgiving for nearly 8 years now. ,f:: So I will have to see if I can persuade them to celebrate the weekend before.
