Starting this Sunday, March 1st, Layaleena is having an open mic night
from 6pm to 9pm for those who are interested in dancing to live
music. Show length is about 10 min. There will be 8 dance slots every
week, so if you would like to perform please email me directly (najmat99 at aol dot com).
Cover charge $8 , table minimum $15.

From 9pm to 2am is Layaleena's regular night with singer Koko and
belly dancing performance, our feature dancer for March 1st is
Panayiota!
Cover charge for 9pm on is $15 and $20 for minimum at the table.

Note: If you would like to stay for the second part of the night you
would pay the price difference.

Layaleena is located at Basha Café, 25 New Street, Cambridge, MA near the smaller rotary in Fresh Pond.

I just did last night's open mic. It was a great venue. The band was friendly and the crowd was very dancer friendly. I highly recommend any bellydancers in the New England area to do this open mic. It is a monthly event.
