And it just keeps getting BETTER! Photographer Pixie of Pixie Vision Productions is coming to Hiptastic! Pixie will actually be set up in my studio for the week leading up to Hiptastic! and she will be available for photo sessions. Sadie and Pixie. I've been trying not to faint!

Okay so question... by that time I'll be about 6 months pregnant. Do you think it'd be worth it to try? I've really been itching to take a workshop with Sadie and this is not very expensive or far away from me (a little, but i'm in missouri so it's not TOO far). I danced all through my first pregnancy.

Hmm.. maybe i'm just crazy.

Talk to your doctor. let him or her know that both workshops are pretty intense. Keep in mind that you can always modify your movements. Only you and your baby doc can make that decision.
We picked out Sat workshop to be geared for all levels of dancers. It's all technique based. Everyone will get something out of it. Sunday's workshop is geared more towards intermediate, advance and pro dancers. First half is secrets of drum solo and second half is drum solo choreo.
I heard Sadie does some serious butt kicking in her workshops.

Just a reminder that the early bird special registration price ends June 30th. Mail in registrations need to be postmarked by June 30th to get in on the amazing price rate. In person registrations need to be delivered by midnight June 30th. No one can knock on my door after midnight.. I wont answer :) Price of the workshops goes up starting July 1st.

Also, performance spots requests are now closed. We will be determining the show line up within the next few weeks and contacting everyone in the show the first week of July. Thank you!

Oh jeeze...thanks for the reminder! I definitely want to make the early bird for the Saturday workshop, and I've totally put this on the back burner.

I know me too. This is one that I am so excited to come out and do but cash flow is just crap right now. Hubby is going to amuse the kiddos while I do the workshops:) Its my son's 12th birthday the 19th so gotta find something special for him to do while we are out there..g.:

Amira- There is Six Flags Great America amusement park, Key Lime indoor waterpark/hotel, Gurnee Mills outlet shopping center just 10 minutes from Hiptastic. We are located 45 minutes south of Chicago and all the museums and it's infinite number of activities. We are also located just 45 mins south of Milwaukee as well.

i won't be going, but do get a kick out of sadie's last name. is same as my ex husband. no relation though, according to his mom.

Only 5 more days to get in on that Early Bird Savings for Sadie workshops....I'm just sayin'. :)

Wish I could make this event. I'll be out of town that weekend.

Crazy cheap flights to Chicago! Southwest is running $30 flights. Get to Chicago...and get to Hiptastic!! There is also a handful of other airlines that are price matching: US airs, delta, continental, jetblue and more!

Nilaja, will there be tickets at the door for the general festival, or do we need to buy advance registration for that? My sister and I are coming, but not for Sadie.

All festival tickets are available at the door only. $18 adults, $10 children (16-6) Children 5 and under FREE.
