Thread: Anything going on in Boston?

Hubby and I are heading up to Brunswick, Maine from the 25th to the 29th and then down to Boston from the 30th - 1st. Are there any shows on the 31st in Boston? Where can a girl go for some BD action?? ..g.:

Thanks Aazura! I'll keep it in mind. I have to wait until it gets closer to the actual day before I can make any definite plans. Oh, a question about tipping: (forgive my ignorance) How is it done in MA? Here in VA, we are "No Touch". So dancer's can't have money "tucked" or placed anywhere on the body.

Typically in MA it's done with money shower , but some places have body tips as well. At Byblos there is no tipping -- the owner doesn't want people to tip the dancers b/c he thinks it demeans the dance. Whatever. He pays a decent wage so I don't mind that much.... and occassionally people slip me some money descretely as they leave (but you didn't hear that from me )

There's Bellydancing every night at Tangierino Restaurant. (food is to DIE FOR too) and if you're available on the Sunday, there's a cornucopia of dancers on at the Middle East Restaurant in Cambridge's Central Square. On Wednesday's there's a live band there, but when you know your schedule you can work out what is most convenient for you. BTW, you can also approach a dancer and place the tip on her head. It gets picked up later and handed to the dancer.

Well, it looks like I've had to change my plans. ,f:: We are leaving Maine on Thursday morning and I'll only be spending one night in MA. I have to leave to come home Friday morning. ,m:: Darn it!!!,m::
