Thread: What is happening in Chicago in August?

I'm planning in go to Chicago from August 10 to August 16 and I want to ask if somebody know some workshop or good classes to take there.

I will be at Mango Restaurant in Niles, IL on Tuesday evening Aug. 11th @ 6:30pm (a handful of miles north of the City) teaching a 1-hr. BD session, followed by a 1-hr. Salsa lesson, all for only $5 donation to benefit "Let's Beat Cancer by Dancing" missiongreenlit.org! :)

Sonya of Arabesque has a lot of drop in classes too. She's at Arabesque Chicago - Belly Dance - Tribal Fusion - Dance Studio.

Sabah is my teacher/mentor and I cannot say enough good things about her. I very highly recommend taking a class with her, although all of the other ladies mentioned are equally awesome.

I hope to take some classes with Sabah during her next hiatus. And Pineapple is only ten minutes from my house!

OMG, I am so jealous!!!!! The two hour drive for me each way is a killer, but she's totally worth it.
