    I'm looking for a teacher in the Lexington KY area for a beginner student, any suggestions??

    hmmmm, i think there is a teacher that came to Pittsburgh, pa for a workshop a little while back... if i remember correctly she teaches in Kentucky.
    maybe check it out. hope it helps

    OMG Nashwa is my teacher and she is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!

    She teaches in Richmond, which is about 20 miles south of Lexington. And at Berea college.

    I was just there today -- it's a very easy drive from UK or EKU to her studio.

    Sri-Tarasita is in Lexington. Excellent teacher, tremendous performer and her studio sponsors workshops from the likes of Rachel Brice, Mardi Love and Zoe Jakes! Love taking classes there. Her website is MECCA: A Live Studio & Gallery.
