It was such a lovely event - Khaleela really did an excellent job with it. Everyone was friendly, there was plenty of help for scatter brained competitors like myself, and it all appeared to go so smoothly! And the dancers - there were so many talented contestants! The show was a blast, too - it was a real treat to see the local talent and the judges shine onstage. :)

And such a fun surprise to find out they're sending me to the Belly Dance Nationals Competition - I'm really looking forward to it!

We haven't met yet, but Murjanah (Meaghan) is my sister! I'm *so* glad she's been taking classes with you! Her dance has grown *so much* in the last year - it's been such a treat to watch!

North East Belly Dance Competition was a very nice event. Good location, friendly staff and well organized.

Khaleela, congratulations on a job VERY well done. I thought the weekend was seamless.

I was very happy to connect and re-connect with many wonderful people this past weekend.

I'm really bummed I missed this, no one wanted to tkae the drive down with me :(

Just got back online after two weeks of no internet access (one week on vacation, the other forced on me by the stupid computer). Just want to send out my thanks to Khaleela too!

It was great fun dancing at the competition. I wish I could have met more people but it was hard to focus and schmooze at the same time!

Thank you all so much for participating. Everyone was lovely and I have never met so many lovely ladies under one roof.

My volunteers were phenomenal. They are the real reasons the event ran so smoothly. I believe they were all psychic because they all seemed to know where to be and what to do.

My judges were amazing. I didn't want to be in their shoes with so many great competitors but they did a fantastic job.

I am at about 10% completion for the competitor packs and will keep everyone updated.
