Thread: Looking for dancers in the Kileen, Texas area

If anyone knows of dancers in the Kileen area or anyone willing to drive to Kileen for a semi-regualr gig, I am trying to staff a club there with dancers.

The club there is a sister club of Al Amir in the Dallas area.

They are looking for shows on Thursday and Saturday nights. It's a Latin club in the Kileen area that wants to offer bellydance shows. Pay is negotiable and we are looking for experienced dancers, not beginning students. If someone wanted to travel there and stay overnight, that is also an option that can be arranged.

Not that I can help you but it's nice to see a legit advertisement for dancers!

I think Ruya (TexasRuya on Bhuz) has already spoken with this club. I didn't know they were an AA affiliate.

They want shows at midnight on Thursdays, but that was too late for her.

AA management asked that I staff the club there because they are "family"? No skin off my back, if I can actually find dancers in that area. I think that's also why they offered to put dancers up for the night if they want to go there and do two shows and spend the night.

According to him, it would be the same times as the AA shows (8:30/9pm and 10:30/11pm).

I just don't know anyone in that area. It would be a good drive from FW or Austin.

Anyone in Waco at all?

Hmmm, maybe this is a different club after all. Check with TexasRuya to see if she'd be interested.

I'd love to do it myself sometime, but they'd have to make it worth the drive.

I'm in the Killeen area (Copperas Cove) and I would definitely be interested if this is still going on.
