I was opening one of the storage doors under the stage and the screws holding the hinges pulled completely out. It fell flat to the floor, taking my hand with it and my fingers got smashed. ,f::..cr.: It took two people to lift the door and prop it against the foot of the stage, that sucker weighs a ton! We put the food drive table in front of it to make sure nobody else got hurt.

When I turned the keys in yesterday I told a member of the building committee what had happened and she was horrified--they were aware of the problem but had been told it was fixed. Um, NO ,m::

I'm still in a bit of a Vicodin haze, but it looks like we have $1060.00 for PRC! (I'll double-check and confirm after I come down LOL). In addition, this year we easily had the biggest haul ever for the "No Bellies Left Behind" food drive!

It was wonderful to see you and everyone at the hafla. All the dancers
were amazing and I just loved the Christmas songs that were picked.
Galatea, I am still talking about that wonderful chipmunk song and how
perfect the choreo was.
And Christina and her solo in that beautiful blue and furry white
costume was amazing. Oh and Mahira and her troup Mirage - that
was just beautiful. So glad you made it Lauren , it was great
to see you again - so what did your cute bo think of the show?

Thanks to all the performs for putting their A game out for all to see
on Saturday. Wish I would have had my camara cuz you know I would
have been taking picture.

A very dear friend told me in the nicest way that I was going to the ER if he had to get me in a headlock and drag me there! (and bless his heart we didn't get out of there until the weeeee hours) According to him "it's not a real party if nobody goes to jail or the hospital" ..l;,

Update: at one week post-accident my hand has improved. I'm out of the elbow-to-fingertip temp cast and into splints on my middle & ring fingers and wrapped from the wrist up. Swelling is down (knuckles re-emerging!) and no numbness. Santa brought me a kickboxing wave bag so I have powerful motivation to make a fist again!..g.:
