Thread: 5th Annual HoHoHo Habibi Hafla 12/19 (IL)

Hi everyone,
KB Entertainment and Arabesque Chicago LLC are proud to present the 5th Annual HoHoHo Habibi hafla! There's been a change of date but mark your calendars for Saturday December 19th at Immanuel Lutheran School, 148 E. Third Street, Elmhurst IL 60126.

This not-to-be-missed fundraising event will feature bellydance performances by soloists and troupes, fantastic shopping, live drum jam and open dancing and a season's worth of holiday cheer! ;-D

****100% of the $10 cover is donated to People's Resource Center in Wheaton, IL**** PRC is a 501(C)3, not-for-profit multiservice faith based, grass roots organization serving families in need in of DuPage County, Illinois. 95% of every dollar received goes directly to those in need! Don't forget to bring some non-perishable food items for the "No Bellies Left Behind" food drive, proceeds go to the PRC Food Pantry.

Glad to hear the tradition is continuing, Kim!! I won't be able to make it, though - my niece (danced with my "old" troupe) is getting married that day. I was really hoping HHHH was going to be the weekend before. ..cr.:

But I know you all will have a fantastically wonderful time and raise a ton of $$$ for a very good cause.

This year with flying in I thought I would hedge my bets against bad weather and shoot for a week earlier than usual...but as it turned out ILS wasn't available that weekend after all. The universe has decreed HoHoHo Habibi will remain the Saturday before Christmas!

Hey Kimahri! Tried emailing you a few days ago! Is there space in the hafla for myself and my student troupe (separately from me, that is)?

HIya, Kim! I'm emailing ya! :) HHHH holds such wonderful memorial & the most "specialest" of places in my heart: yours was the very first event I ever bellydanced in back in Dec. 2005 w/my wonderful 1st teacher guiding us through after my first 6-week session of learning bellydance ever! :)
