Thread: Looking for best bellydancing teachers in Cairo

Hi there everyone!

I will be in Cairo in December and would like to know who are the best instructors over there.

I am an intermediate-advanced dancer, Modern Egygtian Cabaret style, would like to improve on Egyptian and folk. What about Diana Tarkan, Nour, Mohammed Shahin, Ashraf Hassan? I have the link to all the teachers but there are just too many? Any idea about rates as well?

I was also wondering if you could recommend some activities and bellydancing venues...

And a link maybe for affordable hotels or homestay?

I've not been to Cairo, but took a private class with Outi whilst she was in the UK this Spring and highly recommend her teaching - one private with her + a couple of workshops has improved my dancing more than months of going to regular classes. She's very, very precise about technique, which I appreciate
