Thread: Dec 23 Holiday Hafla Spectacular in Elgin, IL

Hi everyone! Some of you might know that my students, my pro troupe, and I do a little dancing at the Martini Room in Elgin every other month on a Wednesday. Well, due to getting several requests, we've decided to open the December one up to guest dancers and there are still a few spots left!!

When: Wednesday, December 23 8:00pm
Where: The Martini Room: 221 E. Chicago St., Elgin
What: Whatever bellydance you want to do... students, pros, troupes, soloists, tribal, oriental, holiday novelty. Keep it under 5 minutes and keep it entertaining!

one more thing.. this is a bar, so unfortunately, we can't have any underage habibis at this hafla. Sorry!

I wish so badly that this was one week later. The day before Christmas Eve is such a bad time for me but New Year's holiday is practically non-existent in my life (i.e., no cooking!). I bet it will be a fantastic holiday hafla!

I'm hoping I can at least come watch! It's right in my back yard, but my sister is driving in that day for Christmas, so it all depends on if she'll be there yet....
