Hello, all!

If you're an experienced beginning student ready for the challenges of an intermediate level class, or are already an intermediate student, you might be interested in the following classes in Fullerton, CA, which include the opportunity to perform at Market at the Casbah Middle Eastern Dance Festival:

Intermediate Belly Dance with Deborah
January 19-March 23, 2010 (10 weeks)*
March 30-April 27, 2010 (5 weeks)*

Both sessions emphasize transitions plus arm/hand patterning and skills. The January 19th session uses a choreography to teach these skills as well as intemediate level movements. The March 30th session continues with topics such as developing crispness in movement, finger cymbals and more.

Market at the Casbah celebrates its 12th year in 2010. It has become known as offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who dances on its low raised stage. As an Intermediate Class participant, you have the option of performing at The Casbah as a member of a group. Important to keep in mind: performing is an option, not a requirement.

If you desire to perform, you'll enroll in both sessions and participate in the required rehearsals that follow each class. The rehearsals will allow you to polish your performance and receive extra feedback.

Deborah, I wish we lived closer, I have a few I would love to send your way and would like to join in myself. I always enjoy getting anothe's teachers slant on things. Great idea and much needed in the dance today!
