    Halloween Hafla in Elgin (Chicago)

    Have a great time and help raise money for the Chicago chapter of MECDA while getting your spooky groove on!!

    When: Sunday, October 28 from 7:00-10:00
    Where: The Martini Room. 161 Chicago Ave in Elgin, IL
    Who: As many area dancers as we can fit into the show!!
    What: Your favorite dance number, Halloween themed or not, plenty of open dancing, and an appetizer buffet.

    There will be a $5 cover charge. Performers are free but are encouraged to donate to MECDA if they wish to.

    All profits made from this hafla will go directly to the Chicago chapter of MECDA and its future endeavors!

    Oh jeeze, I want to go to this so bad - I even have a piece in mind that I've been saving for a Halloweeen themed hafla. But unfortunately, I have my student troupe rehearsals on Sundays, and it'll only be the second one so I don't feel like I can cancel it. I mean, I can hardly rag on them about attendance, then not show up myself.

    And the Martini Room is soooooo cool, with perfect ambiance for a Halloween hafla. Wahhhhhhhhh!

    This sounds like so much fun!

    I'd love to dance...but we're flying back from Halloween weekend in New Orleans that afternoon. Too risky!

    I'll definitely be there to watch, though!
