Looking for a possible teacher in Milwaukee
I'm not moving back to the homeland any time soon but I have a former classmate of mine from my Milwaukee days who has had a rather rough year. She's actually juuust in the Whitefish bay area.
I'm looking into the possibility of buying some sort of class gift certificate for her. She has a daughter who will probably go into preschool this fall and I don't know what her schedule is like when it comes to childcare and such.
I'd love into from you guys who are there about if you have any gift certificate options or if you have that option and any sort of "mother and me" classes (longshot, I know).
My email is a gmail at ozmaofjapan or you can reply here.

Re: Looking for a possible teacher in Milwaukee
I do offer gift certificates, but unfortunately, I'm way out in the NW burbs. My classes would be quite a hike for your friend, and I don't really have the option for people to bring their children to class.
I would highly suggest contacting Shaia at www.milwaukeebellydance.com. She teaches on the East Side of Milwaukee, offers gift certificates, and I believe would be very comfortable teaching "mommy & me" classes as a private lesson (I don't know anyone locally who teaches group mother/child BD lessons). She a super sweet person, a lovely dancer and a great teacher.

Along with Laura and Shaia (both great suggestions), there's also Samantha Fairuz. She's not a bhuzzer, but she's a lovely dancer and has classes in Bay View. I don't know about the mother/daughter classes (there are none listed on her website here Samantha Fairuz Class Schedule ), but you could ask her about it.
