Thread: Wanted - ATS/ITS/Fusion teacher UK East

I am an organiser for 'Elements of Flow', a circus skills, dance, martial arts and healing skills festival.

Due to a recent cancellation, I am now looking for someone to teach ATS/ITS workshops. The ideal candidate would have a suitable ATS/ITS qualification/experience as well as an interest in fusion of dance elements. We are very interested in workshops centering around the flow of energy around the body, flow of information between people or fluidity of movement transitions (this is quite open to interpretation).

We currently have Kerry Darkstar confirmed to attend teaching two fusion based workshops (slinky serpentine and pops and locks) and performing. Skills currently being covered by workshops include (but not limited to):
Tai Chi
Wing Chun Kung Fu
Laban
Contact Juggling
Poi
Contact Staff
Breakdance

In addition there will be performances by local bands and various individuals during the evening.

The ticketing format for the event will be a one-off cost of around £70 per person, with all workshops included in the ticket price (tickets will be on sale shortly). The event is limited to a total number on site of 499 people, and located in Bury St. Edmunds just off the A14.

At this stage, I cannot offer more than £125 plus food and ticket (sorry, I am aware that's not a lot for a qualified teacher), but if ticket sales are sufficient, I will be able to improve upon this. As this is the first year of the event, we are keen to establish a long term relationship with teachers who will be invited back year on year.
