Thread: Bellydance Party + Costume Swap + Drum Circle in Crystal Lake this Friday! (6/18)

Let's par-TAY ladies & gents!!

After two consecutive weekends of knock-'em-dead workshops and shows in Chicago, Yousry Sharif & Tribal Revolution, this Friday's event is all about kickin' back, enjoying some local performers, dancing our butts off with all the inspiration still fresh, and costume swap to try & refill the coffers!!

Drummers, bring your drums for a circle led by Elisha!

Performance slots available, e-mail Zoh'ra your music & brief bio to reserve your spot! Costumes optional (clothing is mandatory though, tee hee), all styles welcome.

There will be lots of open dance, and lots of cossies that need new homes!

$5 admission

When? Friday, June 18, 7-10 pm

Where? Old Towne Hall in Crystal Lake, 54 Brink St across from the Starbuck's. A vintage ballroom, second floor walk-up.

Doors open @ 7, Elisha will lead a drum circle to get things started right! Bring the costumes you'd like to swap or sell!!

"Show" @ 8, Lots of improv... drop-in's welcome! bring your music, first come-first serve as time permits!

Open dance until 10! & if you're not danced out by then, follow me to Crystal's Party Bar at the Holiday Inn at 14 & 31 so we can show them how it's done! Oh yeah, bellydancers takin' over the world!
