Teachers in Manhattan?
Hey
I'll be in N.Y for ten days!!
Looking to take some classes. Will try any style as long as she can explain herself well. I think I'll take a beginner class for a refresher. I haven't dance in over a year.
Thanks

Oh, if you can catch a class with Aszmara, she is incredible. (I am her biggest fan girl.) Beyond that, Tanya's advice sounds great.
For those drawn to Turkish Romani dancing, Tayyar Akdeniz is another great resource.

Re: Teachers in Manhattan?
Aszmara does not teach in NYC with regularity, she teaches in the Westchester area.

Re: Teachers in Manhattan?
i'm a big fan of anahid sofian. her classes are just the right tempo and you really do learn a lot of different things.
and if you're in ny, you really can't pass up a chance to go to Morocco's class.
Also, what tanya said....yousry is in town!
