one of my former teachers just moved out there and joined ^_^ im so happy for her!

Wow, im actually skinny enough to make the cut now... too bad there is no way to make it to california in the next couple of hours to try out

I was looking for flights but too expensive as last minute... maybe next year?

That is one of the saddest things I've heard for a long time, especially in a MED context.

Hey its the truth though... their size requirements are pretty small for MED, and i think the same is for Bellydance Superstars... though looking at the women in BDSS I think that i may still be a bit too big at even my size now..

I used to be a size 16, and barely Im just making 5'3. I guess that is life though unfortunately outside of the MED genre many folks in the entertainment industry think that you need to be tiny to appear in public... I have shown my stepfathers video of some of my favorite dancers to hear him complain about how she was too fat(here i was much heavier than the girl on the video).

And if you look at the video of Sadie and Kaya on So you think you can dance(and Sadie is rather small in my opinion) there were many comments from people saying that she was out of shape and fat. But sadly this is the way people are.

I'm surprised there's not a cut off age mentioned. Surely they would never want us old broads......l;,
