About us:
Saigonbellydance is a dancing school locating in HCM city, instructing some kinds of dances such as bellydance, sexydance, yoga, modern dancing, bollywood, reaggaton, salsa lady styling… in HCMC. We are the leaders in performancing and educating of belly dancing with more than 100 students per day. We are in need of dancing masters who want to join with us for a long time.

Job title: Dancing Instructor

Job description:
• Teaching at beginner, intermediate or advance level at each kind of dances: bellydance, sexydance, bollywood, reaggaton , hula dance, salsa lady styling, flamenco
• Help students correct their dancing steps, improve their dancing skills. Take responsibility of answering all questions about your lessons from students.
• Instructor will oversee, and supervise all activities that take place directly during & after the class you teach.

Job requirement:
• Foreigner working and living in Vietnam. Speaking English is a priority
• Have a deep passion in dancing.
• Specialist in your dancing teaching (one kind above).
• Willing to work with us any time with long-term contract (normally about 6 month).
• Create a dynamic, interesting and enjoyable learning environment, love working with students.
• Experience is preferable.

Job Type: Partime -job

Hello, Ngan! I'm still very interested, but still would need airfare for both myself and my son. Perhaps in a couple of years, when he's grown, I'll be able to teach for you in Saigon.

Oh, I was being serious! I almost went around this time last year, but Ngan could only pay airfare for me and I would have had to bring my son. But in another year and a half he'll be off to college *crosses fingers, tosses salt over shoulder* and I'm off to see the world one way or another. This seems like a great way to see a big part of it.

P.S. I think 'experience is preferable' is an ESL way of saying the more experience, the better.

They're definitely holding a standard. I had to videotape myself teaching a class, etc.

I sent them an email once but never heard anything back. Oh well.

I totally misread your post! I thought you were riffing on the "my son is coming and I want to set up dance lessons for him" email.

Why didn't this post appear before I was over there last time. Can you get a working visa to live there? When we went to Vietnam you could only get a visa for 3 months.
Bruce and I absolutely love Vietnam and would live there tomorrow. As a matter of fact we are considering looking into spending 6 months in Vietnam and 6 months of the year here in Australia.

No matter how many months is, because we are in need of dancing instructor urgently, so I think 3 months is ok, if you come to Vietnam, we will manage to get your visa for 6 months if possible. So, if you have any question, please sent mail to ngan@saigonbellydance.com
