I'm coming to UK next March/April 2011.

I'll be teaching in Oxford (end of March) and London (beginnig of April). Also I'll be performing in Planet Egypt in March.

The London will be organised by Krystina. I'll be teaching on 2nd-3th of April and performing in Planet Egypt on the previous Thursday 31st of March.

In Oxford the workshops are handeled by Oxford Middle Eastern Dance Society. The date is not yet fixed, but any way some time on the previous weekend.

Hi All,

We're hosting the Oxford workshops - I'm really excited about it! We're still working out the details (it's the first time we've hosted an international teacher in Oxford) but I'll post here as soon as bookings are open.

I would also love to know if bhuzzers would consider travelling to Oxford for the workshops, as if we know there is demand I may be able to persuade our treasurer that we can run more/more advanced workshops

WORKSHOP TIMETABLE:

10am - 12am: Saiidi (Open level)
Using basic Saiidi steps to create different feelings and styles, and some new technique.

1pm - 3pm: Classic Egyptian (Open level)
The essence of Egyptian style - what it really is and how to put in your dance. We will work with muscles you never knew, we will work to find the control you never had. As the movements are basic, it is good for beginners, but as the muscle control is very, very advanced it is also good for dancers up to professional level.

3:30pm - 5:30pm: Classic Egyptian (Intermediate)
For the intermediate level workshop we'll work with the Egyptian music -
how to listen it, what to dance. We will look at the different instruments used in Egyptian music, and how to dance to each of them.

Khaleegy Open Level Technique 11.00am - 12.30pm
Shaabi Open Level Technique 1.00pm - 2.30pm
Intermediate Level Shaabi Choreography 3.00pm - 5.00pm

I'm leaving to UK in two days. So much still to but I'm really looking forward the whole trip: fresh air, holiday, time away from the current situation here and of course the dance workshops!

The Oxford classes are less than a week away and London after only two weeks! It'll be so much fun. I' really looking forward to see new people and talk about this dance we all love.
