Looking for AmCab/ Egyptian Instructor for Rockville, Gaithersburg MD
Hi,
I currently teach American Cabaret bellydance several nights a week in two locations. Classes are going well and enrollment sells out each session, the students are wonderful....which is why I am very sorry to have to let it go! I am moving to New Hampshire and am looking for a very well qualified instructor to take my place.
I am contracted out by the City Department of Rockville and Gaithersburg, so I am not the one directly hiring you, nor can I guarantee they will hire you. However, when I quit they will ask me to make a recommendation for a new instructor and as long as your background is clean and you don't completely flunk a simple interview I would assume you'd get hired!
Mostly, I care about a student body that I have spent years building and would like to hand them over to someone I trust. :-)
My current schedule is thus, although there's a small chance it can be re-arranged a little:
Gaithersburg (Lakelands Park Middle School)
Monday: Beginner 7:30 - 8:30pm, Intermediate 8:30 - 9:30pm
Tuesday: Advanced Beginner 7:30 - 8:30pm, Beginner 8:30 - 9:30pm
Rockville (Twinbrook Community Center)
Thursday: Beginner 6:30 - 7:30pm, Bellyrobics 7:30 - 8:00pm, Advanced Beginner 8:00 - 9:00pm
Sessions run 4 times a year, and are usually 6 - 10 weeks long. You set the dates you want to work within the given season.
I get paid $35 per hour.
You don't have to take both locations, but you should be able to take all classes within one given location.
Please email me directly if you are interested, and list your qualifications and certifications. Fitness certification not required, but recommended.
