Michael Baxter will be at the event and he has a few studio photo shoot spots available. Please contact me asap if you would like a shoot, as these fill up fast!

If your flying in....Sacramento is the closest airport.

There is the historic Cary House in downtown Placerville, about 1/2 a mile from the competition site. Really fun and unique place to stay. There are also several bed and breakfasts in town that are also historic. I recommend exploring the flavor that is "hangtown" rather than staying somewhere further away and more bland.

Sometimes the Broadway one can be a bit sketchy. depends on who's living there week to week. But Placerville Wildlife is still better that what i get down here in Oakland. lol

Nope. I'm going camping that weekend. Labor Day and Memorial Day I am always camping, hence why I'm not at any dance competitions like BDOY or sadly this one.

Maybe next year if its not on Labor Day weekend.

thanks!..and yes..raised there !! i always read about this jewel of the sierra... but we do not stay at anything owned by the mormon church/marriotts etc

So sad I won't be there this year to judge Winning last year was the highlight of my dance year! What a well run contest, cheers to Namira for doing a fabulous job! Have fun, everyone!
