My name is Dalia. I am professional bellydancer.
I am looking for a job by contract in hotel as a bellydancer.


My show consists of a variety of numbers, including cabaret, saidi, saidi-dabkeh, khaleegy, baladi and classic songs from such beloved artists as Oum Kulthoum. Veil, assaya, wings can be incorporated into the show.

have you tried contacting various hotels in your area and asking to speak to the events coordinator?

where I live it's tourist central and I'm surrounded by hotels, they are always having conventions, weddings, parties..back when I was dancing frequently I would introduce myself to the events coordinator and I ended up getting referrals for parties and banquets that way.

Also talk to your local photographers, caterers, DJ'S etc they are great folks to network with..

Thank you for unswer.

I ask but in country there I am living is not place there is possible dance bellydance. I live in Estonia, It is very small country in Europe. Here bellydance nobody like and not understand. Unfortunately.
I wrote to some hotels in the Middle East but still not unswer. I think that they don't read e-mails(

If you are looking for work in the Middle East, it's a very tough job to get into. Most reputable hotels will only book dancers through agents, so you need to get an agent who is in a position to book those sort of contracts for you. An agent will only take you on if he thinks you have the right look, and if he thinks you can do the job, and if he's sure you won't let him down and make HIM look bad.

You should read the blogs of Cairo dancers, to see how long it can take to get work in those countries where there are MANY dancers available.

And right now, there really isn't enough work even for the dancers who are already established.

Now is not the time to think about being a dancer in ME. All the problems in this area have really messed up the entartainment business.

The work in Cairo and other ME countries is VERY different! You should think what you are ready for and what do you want. They work on different consepts. Especially in ME you can't really get any work without agents.

You should talk to Iris as she is now in Estonia. She can tell you how things go. I think you can find her contact details as Estonia (Iris in Tallin) is not that big.
