Thread: Dancers & Vendors! 7th Annual HoHoHo Habibi Hafla & Fundraiser! (IL)

SAVE THE DATE!! I am delighted to announce that the 7th Annual HoHoHo Habibi Hafla will take place on Sunday Dec. 11th at the American Legion Post 76, 570 South Gary Ave, Carol Stream IL.

This not-to-be-missed fundraising event will feature a SPECTACULAR BELLYRAMA OF PERFORMANCES by guest soloists and troupes, a live drum jam, fantastic shopping and a season's worth of holiday cheer including a visit from SANTA!

Admission is $10. This year you will get three donation tickets at the door and each of the following will have a jar. You can put it all in one or split, it's YOUR CHOICE! :-)

1) People's Resource Center in Wheaton,IL. PRC is a 501(C)3, nonprofit multiservice faith based, grassroots organization serving families in need in of DuPage County, Illinois.

2) Gypsy Cats in Chicago, IL. Gypsy Cats is a 501(C)3, nonprofit organization in Chicago, devoted to cat rescue, providing shelter/medical attention/adoption service to stray cats.

3) Mistletoe Kisses for Nilaja. This is part of ongoing fundraising efforts for the medical expenses of Nilaja (teacher, performer, vendor) that has been a central figure in the greater Chicagoland dance community for years. WE TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN!

As always we welcome non-perishable food donations (including cat food!) for the "No Bellies Left Behind" food drive to support the PRC Food Pantry and Gypsy Cats...with every donation we'll give you tickets for the Good Karma Raffle (great prizes!!)

PERFORMERS! We want a variety of soloists & troupes, students & pros. Plus I always have a "Cinderella slot" because I think it's good luck to have a first-time performer in every show

5) any props involved? (we can't do fire in the building,sorry!)
6) please include a photo and/or video link of you/your group--representative is fine, doesn't have to be the number you plan to do.

Looking forward to it!!! The holidays just wouldn't be the same!

My dancers & I were thinking of making a road trip for HoHoHo this year, but that's the weekend I'm out of town, and they have gigs.
