I am delighted to announce that MOROCCO returns to the Chicago area Friday February 29th to Sunday March 2nd 2008!

Well ladies, I expect a review for those of us who can't go... :(

It is with great regret that I must announce that the Feb 29th-March 2nd workshop/show weekend with Morocco has been postponed. As many of you know Morocco was the choreographer and cultural consultant for a major
motion picture for Pathe Films (filmed in New York, Cairo, Casablanca and Rabat) and directed by Nabil Ayouche (the multiple-award-winning director of "Ali Zaoua").

The movie has scenes that need to be re-shot and location scheduling overlaps with our weekend. I totally understand that Morocco is required to be
there and complete her work on this previous commitment.

Workshop participants and vendors will receive full refunds. Stay tuned to shimmychicago.com for a reschedule date!

Oh, what a disappointment!

But how AMAZING that Aunt Rocky is involved with such a high-visibility project. An association like that can only be good for our art form, I hope. It's a shame that the Midwestern BD community has to take one for the team like this, though.
