Thread: Monthly hafla in Baltimore

We have a monthly hafla in the Baltimore area on the first Sunday of the month- if you are ever in town let me know! The website is Maryland Middle Eastern Performing Arts It is a great show with an Indian Buffet, and accommodates student to professional dancers. Just about the whole audience is also made up of dancers and family. Only the headline dancer is paid (and is booked months in advance), but it's a great place to come dance or coem watch... if you are in town!

I love this event! Nina, does a great job of organizing it and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. Unfortunately, due to surgery and other dance commitments, I won't get back down until Fall at the earliest.

Ooh, this sounds fun. I'm not that far. I could probably make it in April.

I'll be dancing in the April show! Still dont' know to what though! Rebecca, it would be sweet if you and Rachel could come up! I might go to college in Towson so I'm trying to check out their dance "scene" ! :)

I'm trying to come to watch in April, but that depends on how classes are going, and I'm dancing in May ..g.: I know you'll pick something great for music. I hope I can come.
