Thread: GRRR.....Hafla by the Lake 2007 CANCELLED

Hi everybody,
I am very sorry (and PO'd) to announce that Hafla By The Lake 2007 is cancelled. Long story short, after 6-odd weeks of runaround with the park district they are asking for substantially more $$ this year...it would cost close to three times what it did last year to put on. If they could have managed to hit me with this earlier I *might* have had a prayer of finding some creative way of financing it but there isn't enough time now.

But....

Jim Boz is still coming to teach the master class and I plan to have an event Saturday August 25th, details a'comin' just as fast as possible!!..g.:

How frustrating! Sorry to hear it Kimahri. But I'll definitely be there for Jim Boz ~where ever you end up hosting it. Good luck in finding a new venue.
