Thread: Black/Gold/Silver Madame Abla Dress size 6/8

I love this dress but haven't been wearing it...it's in excellent/like new condition. I'm 36-28-37 and it fits me perfectly, also fits when I gain 5-10 pounds (always gain around the tummy). Wear your own bra underneath, I always wore a black strapless.
Beaded sequin design on a very fine black mesh netting (non stretch but has give to it)with a black chiffon underskirt. Back zip, separate long "sleeves", and a head band. I'm 5'4" and usually wear 36-37" skirts. I will give more definite measurements if there's any interest. $450 includes shipping in the US. Paypal fees extra...also would take check or money order and ship when they clear the bank! This is the type of costume you can throw in a bag and it comes out perfectly, ready to wear!
More size info: The dress measures 17" across the back from armpit to armpit. The front is darted and a little harder to measure but approx. 18" I always felt like I needed bigger boobies to really do this justice. I'm a 36A, wore it with an add a size bra and there's still plenty of room for a couple of larger cup sizes if you need it!
Full hip is 38" and high hip is 34.5" I wore this with an extra 10 lbs and had a 38.5 hip and a 35 upper hip and it still fit without being tight. There's give in the fabric, but it is not stretch fabric. Waist is 29.25" and total dress length measured from the shoulder seam down is 56". Sleeves are 19". Fringe on this is approx. 8.5"

Wow. What would you say is the measurement in the bust area? BTW, I've never publicly thanked you for the beautiful black & gold bedlah w/skirt I bought from you on the Swap last year, it arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Anyway, could you post the inches around the bust, would also be interested in knowing the costume's history since it's an Abla.
