Thread: Taking Offers! New Royal Blue Egyptian Beaded bra and bell bottoms size S/M ~34B/C-36A/B

I LOVE this costume! I've been hoarding it for a few years, but I've never used it (an neither has anyone else) and likely won't have a chance for several more years, so I'd like to find it a new home. Asking what I paid + priority shipping - $340.00 (paypal please)

Measurements
Bell Bottoms
upper hip: 34" max (this is the measurement of where you want the pants to sit)
front rise: 9"
back rise: 12"
inseam: 29" (please note this is un-stretched, the weight of the beading makes them longer)

Top
cup: B (padded) -C (un-padded)
under bust band: 34" max
attached sleeve length (armpit to wrist): 17"
detached sleeve length: 14.5"

Notes: the bra is currently push up padded for a small B, but the pads are just whip stitched in over the lining and can be easily removed to accommodate a C. There are no hooks on the band, but this gives you the opportunity to adjust it (up to 34") to fit you. There are hooks on the halter, but these will very likely also need to be adjusted for proper fit. Bra sizes are my best approximation.

Defects?
There are some very slight color variations in the Lycra. They give the fabric texture and may be intentional. I would just assume they were intentional except there are also die variations in the mesh which look like the fabric just didn't die evenly. I don't feel these variations are very noticeable or that they detract from the costume as a whole, but I wanted to point them out. I've included a picture of the most obvious variations in the mesh. The dark spot on the left low butt cheek in pic 4 below is actually dark lint (which I have since removed) and not a defect. I'm afraid I didn't notice it until after the pictures were done.

I guess right now is a crappy time to be trying to sell costumes. I should have done it years ago, lol

Ladies I'm planning to re-list this and my other new sets on ebay. I'd appreciate advice on helping me sell. Since there hasn't been interest on here I'd like feedback as to why ...

too expensive? Recommend a price (though I'd really like to recover what I spent)
wrong time to sell? Wait a few months?
Out dated? No one wears these anymore?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This is still sitting in my closet and although I am still a little torn on selling this I thought I'd see if there are any takers. It's so sad that it's just sitting around.

Oh my goodness- this is adorable! I don't need any blue at all right now because it seems to be the only color I have been buying but I really love this.

Where did you buy it and is it any designer that you know of? I think that it is a hard time to sell because there is so much listed right now.

This beautiful new costume is still sitting around unused. I'm willing to consider reasonable offers in order to clean out my closet. I'm not planning to perform again in the next few years and it just seems crazy to keep this boxed up.

Somehow I completely missed this question. I bought the costume from Thia's Boutique in Salt Lake City. Thia travels to Egypt and Turkey and hand picks costumes to sell in her boutique. I don't know who the designer is, but since it's not labeled, I assume it's not a big name.

Someone make an offer before I change my mind, lol. I'm too lazy to relist this on ebay since my listing expired and I have to start over.
